Funding for Prostate Cancer Research
Funding is available to support multidisciplinary research in prostate cancer through the Patrick C. Walsh Prostate Cancer Research Fund and the SPORE Development Research Program. Awards are for a maximum of $100,000 and should not be used to support PI salary. Partnership with a Brady Urological Institute faculty member is highly encouraged.
In addition, funds are available to support career development in prostate cancer for new investigators OR mid-level investigators who wish to explore new research directions. These Career Development Awards are for a maximum of $100,000 and mentorship by a Brady Urological Institute faculty member is required.
Emphasis will be placed on funding high risk/high reward research. Faculty whose research received an award through the Fund in the last three years are not eligible for funding.
